I am so excited to share with you the creativity of my talented best friend, Mary Ann. Mary Ann loves Halloween and when she was living locally, our families would get together on Halloween and trick-or-treat and have a little party afterwards. Now the kids are older and she is all the way in Georgia, so Halloween is not a really big thing for my family these days. As I have mentioned before, Mary Ann, has an eye for decorating and her house, in farmhouse style décor,is so beautiful! I can't wait to visit her again in November and see...
I know, I know.. way too early for thoughts of Christmas right?!? Well, we are visiting the beautiful Avon, NC this weekend. It is truly our happy place. My mom, aka Nina, asked if my daughter Emma, and I would craft with her this weekend and she wanted to make some pretty ornaments using "bits and pieces" of her extensive collection of sea glass. So here we are! We'll be back on tract with teacher appreciation ideas next week.
Today, I decided to make coasters using a few scrap pieces of Oracal 651 vinyl as stencils. I already had several of these 6pc sets of 3.94" square MDF coasters, but scrap wood blocks would work as well. I really love the SVG files I shared last week so I used them again this week. There are so many possibilities for these designs!
We have these volunteer pumpkin plants taking over the corner of our patio and about a dozen or so pumpkins on the vine currently. A couple weekends ago we picked a few to bake with and now I have fall fever.
